Is ICHRA only for small groups?

No. Large employers are also implementing ICHRA. In fact, 9 in 10 employers with 5,000+ employees are considering switching to ICHRA in the next several years. ICHRA gives large companies a fixed, predictable healthcare cost instead of group plans, which can increase unpredictably by 20%+ each year. Multi-state employers and companies with hourly and part-time employees also prefer ICHRA for its flexibility and employee choice.

Can you pair ICHRA with a group plan?

Yes. Employers can segment their employees into classes based on location or employment type and offer ICHRA to one class and a group plan to another.
