OVERVIEW Imagine a single system that manages all your electronic files, scanned documents and even images and pictures! Savvy is a browser based, document management system. Savvy lets you organize, search, view and print your documents using only your web browser and an Internet connection. Savvy can support ANY document format and can display documents that have a browser viewer, like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, TIFF, DWG, etc. Most document management systems require you to buy expensive hardware, install intricate VPNs or make you store your documents on a third party server. Not Savvy. Savvy gives you document storage options. You can choose to use our secure Savvy server for online storage or keep your documents in your office, on your own file server. You don’t even have to change the way you currently save and store your documents! Savvy can utilize your current hardware. So, by using your own server for document storage, it keeps your total overall document storage costs very low. There is no need to pay monthly for online storage. Because Savvy can talk to all your servers at all of your locations, one search brings up all matching documents, no matter where they are physically stored. And, since Savvy is built on Internet technology (it uses the .NET framework for you tech people), your documents are accessible from anywhere, at anytime! What about security, you might ask? Well, Savvy comes with powerful user and group based security. You can set access privileges to folders, sub folders, or a single document. Savvy shows your users only what you want them to see. Your documents are also encrypted and transmitted using 128 bit SSL technology. Ok, how about ease of use? Who wants to spend days learning how the software works; weeks training all of your employees and months coaxing them to actually use it? Savvy is easy. No special software needs to be loaded on the user’s PC - it just uses the browser that is already there. Once they’re logged in, they’ll see the familiar tree view most users know well, and a search box. Not difficult at all! Speaking of searching, your documents can be instantly found using Savvy's powerful document and advanced search features. You can search for documents by using Keyword, Boolean, Wildcard, and Regular Expression search techniques. Savvy also allows you to create your own search criteria.
